Those of you that switched to PF2e from DnD5e, where your expectations met?
For those of you that used to play DnD 5e but now play Pathfinder 2e, what made you want to make the switch? How where those expectations met by PF2e? What worked out the way you wanted it to and what turned out to be (in your opinion) boring?
No Max the Min today
Taking a break on the holiday to be with family and friends (and sleep in) and ran out of time to draft. So we’ll do Inflict Wounds next week.
What do you see that gets left out of your Pathfinder games?
I read stories about certain classes, player races, or even certain monsters a GM won't allow. Do any of you have similar experiences in your games?
1E vs 2E
Just wanting other people's opinions here. I love 1e, but I've been looking at 2e occasionally, never read the rules. Generally, what are the pros and cons of each? How does customization compare? Combat? Also I love the occult stuff, has that been ported yet? Lastly, viability of Gish builds?
What would you give a rogue to give them some interesting options in combat
I have a player playing a rogue. I've given them some interesting items in the past, smoke sticks, tanglefoot bags. Player seems to be great at making creative use of items.
Scaling damage as a charging cavalier
So right now I'm a level 5 Beast Rider/Gendarme Cavalier who rides an Allosaurus and charges with a lance and spirited charge for triple damage. For now I'm able to one-shot most enemies, especially when using my Challenge, but I'm painfully aware that this won't last forever.

What feats do crit fishers need?
Teamwork feats. There are four teamwork feats that are absolutely marvelous for crit fishers. The most necessary one is Paired Opportunist. Basically if you're adjacent to one another you get +4 to AoOs. Combine that with Seize the Moment. Arguably the best of them, but unfortunately you need Improved Critical to get access. Except you get Improved Critical at level 5 for free, so, nice. Whenever you and your teammate are adjacent and one of you crits, the other gets an AoO. This can result in 'bouncing crits' because should one crit the other gets an AoO, and if they crit it gets passed back. Absolutely devastating if it starts chaining.
How many crits do you get at level 5?
By level 5 you've got a 15-20 crit range with some bonuses to hit and damage built in, and you can (and should) easily become a Dex to Damage guy. This combines nicely with Combat Reflexes and every AoO you take is another chance at a crit. It also brings you to the ultimate in crit fishing.
Is Magus build boring?
I'm def. not saying you're wrong, but the Magus build is so overdone and boring after awhile. It's like playing a Zen Archer. They're all the same and get monotonous. It answers OP's question, but it's such a boring build.
Does fencing grace work with spell combat?
My personal choice is Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) 1 / Kensai X for the best of both worlds. Fencing Grace still works with Spell Combat even though Slashing Grace doesn't.
