What should you not wear to a Renaissance Faire?
DON'T dress as a pirate!, Trekkie, mermaid, elf, unless its' that kind of Renaissance Faire. Some California Faires and elsewhere mix fantasy themes. Others stick to a time period like the Elizabethan Era, so check the website.
Do you have to wear a costume to Ren Faire?
It's totally not necessary to dress up at all. Also know that you can if you want to, and that you don't have to go all out or be period-accurate. The most important thing is to be comfortable and dressed for the weather (which, since our faire runs in July, can be HOT).
Can you bring a sword to a Ren Faire?
We recommend you leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk. Restricted Items: The following items are not allowed at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire: Firearms, knives, razor blades, weapons or objects of any kind capable of causing harm are strictly forbidden.

She's ecstatic to bring such a powerful figure to life, and even more excited to not have to open doors for herself all season!
How many days does the Faire have?
This includes 1 ticket per subscription for each of the 23 days of the Faire. Adult subscription codes will only access adult Faire reservation tickets. Child subscription codes will only access child Faire reservation tickets.
What is a Faire subscription?
The "Faire Subscription" takes the place of the "Season Pass". Patrons who purchase a Faire subscription receive a subscription code that they will use to obtain reservation tickets online for the date specific days of the 2021 Faire season. This includes 1 ticket per subscription for each of the 23 days of the Faire.
Is the Dog Friendly Faire only for dogs?
There are some simple steps to take before visiting with your furry friend. Dog Friendly Faire tickets and policies apply to dogs only. No other animals will be admitted. (Our Dog Friendly Faire program does not apply to any other Mount Hope Events and is valid only for the Renaissance Faire, running August-October.)

When is the murder mystery dinner 2021?
The 13th annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Mount Hope on the grounds of Mount Hope Estate & Winery kicks off on March 3, 2021 and continues Fridays, Saturdays, select Sundays, and select Weekdays through May 2. Accept this invitation to the interactive culinary 'who-done-it,' enjoy a sumptuous four-course meal and the opportunity to become the detective, interrogate the suspects, put the clues together and uncover the truth!

Victorian Mount Hope Mansion
Mount Hope Mansion in Lancaster County was built in 1800 as a grand rural retreat for four continuous generations of the wealthy colonial American ironmaster Grubb family. Renovated and enlarged at the height of the Victorian Era, it is a simply delightful estate, particularly during the holiday season when she is dressed in her holiday finery.
