Re: what is the IP to login Ooma hub?
thanks for the speedy reply. I connected my laptop to Home port Ooma hub and typping setup.ooma.com and could get into the Ooma setup page. However, non of the buttons under Navigation seem to work. When I click one button on the left it shows "The internet explorer cannot display to web page". What's wrong with that?

I agree with Tommies - I still run my firewall and my AVG antivirus - the only difference is that I access the hub using the http://172.27.35.1 address instead of http://setup.ooma.com . I did not have to make any adjustments to my firewall using the direct IP address.

Re: Setup static ip
I recently tried the instructions provided by "madmartian" and had no problem resolving "setup.ooma.com" and changing the device's Internet IP address. Nevertheless, I found the default numerical address you can use instead is the following: http://172.27.35.1

Re: static ip setup
Yeah thanks -- I got all all that. Except my Linksys router doesn't have an 'attached devices' list that I can see. I already had other static IP devices setup, so it was quite clear except for the DNS questions I asked above.

A side benefit of a static IP now is that you can now connect to the Ooma box Admin Pages directly by going to 192.168.1.20 in your browser.
