Does the DMV now have a restricted license?
The driver must attend an Impaired Driver Program (IDP) (previously known as Drinking Driving Program or DDP) approved by the DMV. You can now get your driver’s license/identification card renewal notices electronically. You must log in to or create a DMV account to sign up for your email renewal notices.

Make an Appointment (Metropolitan Areas)
Most transactions at DMV offices in Carson City, Henderson, Las Vegas and Reno require an appointment. You may obtain a vehicle movement permit without an appointment.
