Small Pilot flame on MrHeater MHBF20lpt & pilot won't stay on
You will probably need to remove the pilot orifice and clean it out use a small needle or orifice cleaning rod. The pilot flame is not big enough to keep the thermocouple engaged.

When the pilot lights continue holding the button down for a full minute and then release. It should stay lit then to allow you to turn it to the on position. If the pilot will not stay lit after holding it for the full minute, then the thermocouple will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
Mr. Heater Big Maxx - Green light is off. I put in a new 3 amp fuse (even thought the original looked ok) and light is still off. Checked wires at connection and have good volts. Basically new unit
With multimeter check l1 to ground on control board. Also check 24vac to ground to verify high and low voltage present at board.
My mr. Heater lights only stays lit for about 3 minutes and then it goes out
I had this same problem with my heater. I cleaned the propane tube where the flame comes out (after it’s off and cooled down) with a Qtip and some alcohol. After removing some cotton, it will fit all the way down to the end of the tube. Repeat until it comes out clean and stays lit.
Pro installed new Mr. Heater 2500btu radiant natural gas heater to Mr.Heater specs. when checked ceiling and the wall are hot 180 degrees is this normal or is something wrong or need heat shields?
There is nothing on line about heat shields I would go direct to M r heater with model and serial number and ask them .
