A Bosnianbill video said ask your local locksmiths if they have any throw away locks so I did

This guy cussed me out. "I fuckin told you last month I'm not selling you fucking locks" and more. Calmly tried to explain myself and that I've only been at this for maybe two weeks and got called all kinda criminal.

Poorly engineer product. Ruthless in employee support management is self serving. Up against the wall by the private equity firms.

What does "Do not duplicate" mean?

It means as much as the person handing you the key, and saying, “don’t make any copies.”. It does not stop a key from being duplicated.

Do not copy lock?

Stamping a key “Do Not Copy” does not protect it under law, it is just an honor system that many locksmiths follow. Automated key copy machines, hardware stores and other places where you can have keys made usually ignore that label.
