The peak season for travel in St. Thomas is December to March when the weather is absolutely perfect for all of us sun-lovers. 70s-80s with a mild breeze. The shoulder season of April to June is my favorite time to visit as you should still have great weather with less crowds.

The taxi fare from Cyril E. King Airport to Ferry Crown Bay is $5 USD and 5 minutes and to Red Hook is $15 USD around 30 minutes travel time.

You should know there is no Uber service in St Thomas and Virgin Islands. But you will find many local taxis to move between St Thomas airport to Ferry Terminal on the way to St John.

In St Thomas their summer (December to April), there are fewer rains than normal. In their winter (May to November), rains are almost non-stop. For most tourists best time to visit St Thomas is from December to April because of easier transport.
