I was sent a secret shopper offer. The original email came from an "Emily Secreto" with an email address of [email protected] . This was for a survey shopper that is needed in my area for a reasonable weekly pay and to reply [email protected] for more details. I was curious so I did send an email to the Jmanning address.

What you are describing, with the large check being sent to you from a company you were not aware of, IS a scam. This is prevalent in the mystery shopping world. Mystery shopping is mysterious, people don't know about it, and there are many scams perpetrated in the names of legitimate mystery companies.
DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!
Make your own hours. They do pay as long as they don't find any errors to dock your payment!
Mystery Shopper
Many outings for field work and not much needed to complete the task. All you need is disaplen,a smartphone, note book, and or Labtop. You can be reimbursed for products or food and car service. The assignment can be done anywhere there is internet and only takes about half an hour to an hour. Payment for each assignment is negotiable.
Decent legit Mystery Shopper Contract work
Pay is usually $7-10, there are larger contact work but require alot of effort (I usually print off the information) and ensure I read carefully the requirements. Serious attention to detail required and MUST be able to follow instructions. I strongly suggest completing all the certifications before you apply. Great practice for corporate work.

I filed a report regarding this company. Enraged, they retaliated by sending "notifications" that my identity was about to be stolen.

When I read the negative review of Premier Disability Services LLC I was shocked and in total disbelief. As a former client of this outstanding, professional company I experienced nothing of the sort.
UPDATE: Got a job! ...then offer retracted
A mere three weeks ago I posted this: https://www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/payqsw/i_finally_landed_a_job_i_told_myself_i_wasnt/
Laid off after my first day?
I had just gotten a job and was excited to start. My start date was pushed a week which did not alarm me at the time. The company switched CEOs and apparently some changes were coming.
Co Worker smells terrible
I've been working at my job for a while now and there is a employee that always comes in smelling like asshole (like a portable toilet) and BO. The whole department knows he smells terrible and have brought it to the managers and HR attention, but still he continues to come to work smelling like BO and Asshole.
Bad idea? Wanting to warn co-workers in my resignation email
I had an emergency surgery last month and HR broke the law by avoiding my FMLA procedure requests and harrassed me every other day of my recovery.
Ashamed of starting working at 23
Last week I started my first ever cashier job. It’s been hard, but I am getting by. I was chatting with a co worker after my shift and I told them this is my first job at 23. They were shocked and said “why did you wait so long?”
Hold on. There will come a time when someone will believe in you
I have been job searching on and off for a few years now. It's been rough. Obviously, I would pause my job searching efforts from time to time because receiving so many rejection emails and calls would hurt so much. It was humiliating and overall very discouraging. I questioned my self-worth and often cried.
Enjoy working here
I enjoy working here, although no company is perfect, Premier is certainly trying to do right by their employees. Premier handled their Covid response exceptionally well.
Seems like a good company
The interactions with HR were awesome. The interview process was awesome. However the actual job is so confusing. The documentation does not assist with doing your job. It is very stressful. If you are a person who values your work and likes clarity. This is not the place. The directions given are not clear and it seems very unorganized.
Great Entry-Level Job
This is a great entry-level job. Working with the Centers of Excellence patients can get overwhelming from time-to-time because the are usually unaware of the program/benefits their employers participate in until the time has already come for surgery.
Good benefits
Need more work life balance. Should change sitting arrangement so that's it not like being in a pod. Sitting is to close no space reminds me if how we set in elementary school.
Horrible pay. Its like a sweat shop. They dont appreciate the workers at all
If you need a little extra cash. If you do drugs, or have an extensive backround then your golden here. They except anyone. Tje turn over rate is litterally 100%.
Horrible job
Horrible job.. we would be scheduled a 10 hour shift get to work at seven get sent home around 10 when they didn’t need us anymore when I was trying to get paid half the time we didn’t get paid, The management did not care about us because we were temps...
Productive and fast paced
Morning meetings were fast paced and full of learning opportunities. After receiving where we would be setting up, we would commute to our assignments and give low income citizens free phones. Hardest part of the job was the 8+ hours outside in high degree weather trying to communicate with as many potential customers as possible.
