Don't work

I have bought a pack of 6 of these off eBay and they don't work. I have 1 in every room of a 3 bedroom house in western Sydney and they are hopeless. Mice problem.

Terrible, they didn't give my problem special consideration

Bought the product for my mom for Christmas and gave it to her on December 25th since she has a lot of mosquito problems and it didn't work for her.

Scam

I just took one of these apart. All it is is a LED light bulb with 2 resistors attached to it. It has no speaker apparatus to emit the "high-frequency sound waves."

It works

Surprised to read majority reviews say the product does not work, well, it works for me!

Works excellent for me

I bought several of these about three years ago as I had a mouse problem in my RV. Plugged them in and have never had another mouse (or for that matter, no pests at all, cockroaches, spiders, etc.) Bought a few for my house and no pests again. Once in a great while, I will see a cockroach or a spider, but it is laying on its back and cannot move.

I DON'T RECOMMEND

We had a small roach problem. Since we installed 8 of these our roaches have grown 10 times the number. After $180 on this device, we now are paying 100's of dollars in exterminator fees.

They don't work

I don't have my order number, send me my money back, please. Oh, I'm not happy with the results of your product. I ordered them a while back and the roaches got worse.

Ultrasonic pest repellers vs. other pest-control methods

Why choose an ultrasonic unit over poison or traps? Here are the main pros and cons of this type of product.

Types of ultrasonic pest repellers

You can select an ultrasonic pest repeller according to the pests it deters, the kind of environment it’s designed for, or the power source.

Consider these factors

It’s important to be realistic. This type of device won’t wholly eliminate unwanted pests from your home, and it can’t repel every kind of critter. It’s also not a long-term solution. Some pests could become accustomed to the high-frequency sound over time. If you have a severe pest problem, an ultrasonic device isn’t a practical solution.

Ultrasonic pest repeller features to consider

Some units double as nightlights. Place these in your hallway or kitchen so you won’t need to flip on the light when grabbing a snack in the middle of the night.

Ultrasonic pest repeller prices

The cost of an ultrasonic unit depends on the brand, coverage provided, and how many different pests it repels. Most repellers come in packs containing two, four, or six units and cost less than $40. The priciest options are designed for outdoor use, and most of these cost less than $60.
