Don't mistake this product for chocolate milk mix like my kids did. This is good 'ol fashioned baking cocoa. Use it in brownies, cakes, cookies, and even molé sauce for the latin american chefs out there. This product has been consistent for decades and it's been around my house since I grew up.

Until recently, I didn't bake from scratch, I just used boxed desserts, but I decided to branch out a little and try some scratch recipes. I had been wanting to try a chocolate sheet cake with homemade chocolate icing for a while, but was a little scared. Since I got the Hershey's Cocoa 100% unsweetened cacao, I decided to go ahead and just try it.

This is SO confusing! Title says COCOA, while subtitle says CACAO. Which is correct? These are 2 totally different ingredients, cacao is way healthier than cocoa. I would appreciate an answer and an explaination about this. Thanks

There is a difference between cacao and cocoa. Processed differently, cacao is less processed with less heat so it has more nutrients and is more acidic. It also has more chocolate flavor. Is it helpful that the label just furthers the confusion?
