Are Gladware containers Reusable?
GladWare, Glad FreezerWare and Glad OvenWare containers are reusable. Simply wash the container with your dishes after use. Glad OvenWare is dishwasher-safe and GladWare containers are top-rack dishwasher-safe.
Can I use Glad Wrap in the oven?
We do not recommend the using Glad wraps, bags, or GladWare containers in the oven. Glad OvenWare is specifically designed for gas ovens, convection ovens and conventional ovens, though the lid is not designed for use with conventional ovens. We recommend that you place a cookie sheet underneath when cooking.

Does Glad Press N Seal contain BPA?
Only one of the clear plastic wraps, Glad Press N Seal Multipurpose Sealing Wrap, contained low levels of BPA and the chemicals found in PVC. However, during a test with simulated food, none of the chemicals were transferred from the plastic wrap or the other containers to the simulated food.
Is PVC wrap food safe?
The original plastic wrap made of PVC had more clinging capabilities, but because of health concerns, some manufacturers switched to a food-safe version of PVC and others started using LDPE. However, "Cooks Illustrated" performed several tests on the clingability and air- and water-tightness of the wraps and concluded that there is a trade-off with both types of wrap. The PVC wraps cling much better, but do not stop air and water from invading the container. The LDPE wraps don't cling well, but they are impermeable.

Glad pressn seal uses griptex technology to protect food with a leak proof and airtight seal. Great for storing and protecting leftovers, this multipurpose wrap seals tightly onto a variety of surfaces, such as paper, plastic, metal, wood or other dry surfaces.
Important information
Avoid contact with cutting edge. Not for use in conventional ovens, stovetops, toaster ovens or browning units. To prevent wrap from melting, foods high in fat (like bacon) should not come in contact with plastic wrap in the microwave. When microwaving, turn back over corner to Press'n Seal to prevent excess steam.
