What is the difference between EastLink and Bell?
As far as telephone goes, Eastlink and Bell offer almost identical packages. 15 or so free calling features such as call waiting, call display etc. The major gripe with telephone though is that Eastlink runs all of its services through the cable line.
Is there a cheaper alternative to EastLink?
I don't have exact numbers, but when discussing with both representatives on the phone (Bell and Eastlink) it was found out to be that Bell actually offers the cheaper price for all three services. Take some time and really look into them (their websites are a great place to start) and make a decision based on your personal needs.

TL;DR: Never believe Eastlink reps, they don’t care about you or what you think, they will sell you something worse than what you already have just to get their commission. eastlink is not true fibre. Does Bell have an outage?
Bell has less outages, depending on your usage the better upload speed may or may not be important, but heaven help you if you ever need customer support. With Eastlink if I had to call in, typically I had negligible hold time and the first person I spoke to could help me with my issue.
Is Citywide cheaper than Eastlink?
I can say though Citywide is the only place you'll save money as Eastlink and Bell are on par for pricing. Citywide though is a fair bit cheaper and it is just a East link reseller so you get their network without the wallet raping monthly. 1. level 1.
