Is Dulux natural hessian good?

Gutted
Having needed to refresh my beautiful pure white kitchen walls, I’m now gutted that the Dulux Brilliant white Matt paint has dulled down my lovely bright walls. If I compared the wall to a smart white shirt it would be a washed out bordering on grey affair. No fresh brightness at all.
Patchy Dulux Easycare paint
I have been decorating for over 40 years and sadly Dulux paint has steadily gone downhill over the years. I went for the Easycare paint this time as the last Dulux Matt paint I used was patchy. Sadly this is as bad dispute 2 coats. A total waste of time, effort and £32.
Very poor coverage
Just had to stop painting a small 3m x 2m bedroom before I end up putting a hole in the wall. Not happy. I expected I would have to apply two coats to cover a very pale lilac with Dulux White Mist but to put three coats and the lilac still showing through is ridiculous. Dulux paint has gone downhill over the years. Very poor product.
Not what it used to be
I normally choose Dulux having had problems in the past with other brands, but the last two rooms I’ve done I’ve been quite disappointed. Using two different colours on two different rooms I’ve found where cutting in has been noticeably darker that the walls that have been rolled. I’ve even tried a third coat rolled on and it still won’t match.
3 coats, still patchy
Me and my fiancé decided to paint our room white, and we went with Dulux paint. It was a sheen, 10L box of white paint. First coat went on, obviously it was patchy. We put the second coat on….. still patchy. Keep in mind we have been painting our room all day, since it takes around 3 hours to dry, and an hour to paint the walls.
Easycare attracts marks like a magnet
Spent quite a bit more and bought the easycare washable and tough paint for our relatively thin hallway which is a high traffic area. This paint however it appears to catch scuff marks far easier than any other paint I’ve used and even though it’s washable it never comes clean and consistent. Disappointing for a premium paint.

- They do try to sell you some rubbish add-ons with clever marketing tactics that do nothing apart from the cost you money. But being a major corporation, we will forgive them as they have to pay all their employees and their part in the economy somehow. Things like the paint pad give a wide birth; you’re only wasting your money.
