Diamond Resorts are one of the reputable companies in timeshare. DRI operate their timeshare club on a points basis and it does work for me. I have used their points system to take to to the USA, Carribean Spain and the Canaries on top of having a number of short breaks in this country.

Our timeshare resort was purched by Diamond a few years ago. I have found the online system and reservation system so confusing that we have been unable to reserve on time, or deposit our timeshare ontime and so have lost our ability to make an exchange two years in a row.

Have been a "valued member" since 2005. Could not use our week last year due to covid. Said that we could bank the points, did NOT tell us that they were not applicable to the facility we own, and the ones that it is applicable to, are all sold out. Best part is my own facility HAS room, and they said no.

Went to Vegas for my birthday. I was informed of a great opportunity... which I thought. A 4 days and 3 nights with only 199.00 deposit which includes 150.00 visa gift card, no restort fee, and the only black out day is New Years eve.

One week in Scottsdale and one week in Sedona, attended one review for each week we stayed. Bought $4000 of promises. Flight back home delayed to 1045 pm because of winter storm back home. Asked concierge at front desk in Sedona to see if late check out possible. Yes>> but 45$ dollars for every 20 minutes past 1030 am! ouch.

We were visiting Disney World in 2017 when we first became aware of Diamond Resorts. We were approached by their reps, and they asked us to attend a 60-90 minute travel investment seminar.

Disappointing Rooms

We checked in today. Countertops in kitchen were not wiped down. The complementary Wifi does not work. The toilet seats in both bathrooms slide and tip when you sit on them. (Could cause a fall for someone older with unstable balance). Lamps in main bedroom on each side do not match.
