Walking into any business and being able to sell them something is great.

No free soda fountain

Everyone who works here tries to be cheerful, even when the work is hard. It's a close-knit family of sorts. The work is challenging and engaging, and the day goes by fast. When there's a problem, it gets addressed quickly or at least in a reasonable amount of time. Full range of benefits and perks.

Outstanding Experience

Cintas demands the highest expectations from their people. You are paid fairly for this, but can sometimes feel like you’ll never be able to measure up.

What is the best thing about working at Cintas?

The best thing about working at Cintas is you work 4/10. Worst thing I would say is management. Started out as an ASSR, wich is an assistant to a sales service representetive. As an assistant you are assigned to what is called a supper route. On a supper route you are basically the person that does most of the physical work, i.g. pick up and deliver dirty shop towels. Pick up and lay down dirty mats. Some stops like big car dealerships would have 20 to 30 mats. Keep in mind these are heavy industrial mats. Would do a few of those a day. Also while picking up dirty towels from each independent stall, would have to ask the technician's if they would like clean fender cover's if so, pick up the dirty ones and hand them clean ones. Also change dirty mops for clean ones. After that you then go and assist the SSR in delivering and picking up all the uniforms. Take them to the truck scan each individual garment, and put them in big bags. You have to be in great physical shape if you want to do this job! After a few months of hard work, I managed to pass their SSR training, with basically no help from SSR. All they are interested in is having help to do their work. Became an SSR. Had a regular route no assistant required, which was great! Had regular customers I serviced once a week, got to know them very well and their needs. Had great customer relations with them. Pandemic hit, businesses started to close or couldn't make payments. Keep in mind when you are a Sales Service Representetive, you have to sell to your customers. If you don't, management will come down on you! Customer's -

Is management a good career choice?

Management is non existent, no support or training and they are on route 90 percent of the time. Not a good career choice. Great job for a short time opportunity but not in the long term as they only care about share prices.

It's a solid job

I'd recommend working here. It's not a nightmare job. Just like any other job, it has Its flaws. I'm a uniform route driver. Been there little over 2 years now. Making 50k. The schedule is better than most. You're off every weekend plus a week day, so you only work 4 days a week.

Good place to work if you have a family

I have enjoyed working for Cintas. As a route driver you only work 4 days a week and 8-12 hours a day. The amount of time you work depends on you. 80 hours PTO (Prorated) starting out and 120 after 2 years.

Overworked

The worst 9 months of employment. One month into training, corporate decides to “restructure” the pay scale and I lose four hundred dollars per week.

Good pay & benefits no job security

Great benefits and pay the customers can be great and terrible but overall a great job but there is no job security. When they can replace and pay less they will always do that no matter who you are

Nice managers and staff

Managers are helpful and care about their staff! I love it! The work environment is good overall. The staff all work together. The hours are not bad at all.

Over worked under paid

Early start and long hours. When bonus is due takes months to get it. I never got mine. Uniforms were shipped to be cleaned and half were lost. Customers blame driver. All has to be reordered every week. Low pay and long hours. Lots of promises but you are just a number to run route. Extremely short handed. Always advertising for help.

U really dnt wanna know

Let go for no reason. While people after me. Cstillxworkxthere explain that. One. Thought this would be a great job 4 interviews. Even knowing people that workedxthrre. 6 months in let go. Pduee to slowness of covid. And still. Nobody reach es s out to u. Un trusywortuu people. Care about the mselves. Managers. Brown nose. Bigger boss fo get.

You aren't in the office all day. - There's a possibility of good money depending on where your route is/how much volume it does. - Qualifying employees received a one-time cash bonus after Trump's tax cut. The bad: - You're encouraged to look for sales opportunities and grow your route sales volume. However, once or twice per year, Cintas likes to cut up big routes and make new, smaller routes.
