HOW TO MAKE WATERCOLOR PAINT

  1. Mix together the baking soda and vinegar. Expect it to fizz but the fizzing will stop.
  2. Whisk in the light corn syrup and cornstarch. The mixture will solidify quickly but will become liquid when stirred.
  3. Divide the mixture into portions using an ice cube tray. Mix in food coloring gel or paste until completely combined.
  4. Allow the paints to dry overnight. To use the paints, brush over the top with a wet paintbrush.

Mix 1 cup hot water with ½ cup Gum Arabic Powder. Then, add in 1/5 cup honey or glycerin (a little less than ¼ cup). To help preserve the mixture, add two drops of clove or thyme essential oil.
