Just lost CBS...what's this all about?
We've only had DirecTV for a few years and have never lost channels before. I'm kind of curious why this happens and whose fault it really is.
Local Channel Connector
There's going to be a lot of people asking about the loss of Tegna owned channels, so does anyone know what the current status of Local Channel Connectors is? If they're still available and if they're giving them for free to Tegna areas. And if they even work with the Genie 2 equipment?
Strategy to upgrade?

I need to replace my HR21 before my wife destroys it
I have an HR21-100 from 2012 that is beyond painful to operate. It can take 30+ seconds to respond to remote clicks (when it actually does respond) and has recently started to freeze and reboot.

Question about moving and keeping existing box
My mom is moving soon and she really wants to keep her existing box. It's not a genie but one of the regular ones. She has a decent amount recorded on it and also she's seen the genie at a friends house and hates how it's covered in ads everywhere so she wants to keep her current one.
