Looking to buy several large stones/rocks. Say three to five feet in circumference. When I was looking at web sites they listed thier prices in lb which made me wonder how much would a rock like this weigh? I know different types of stones likely have different densities. Does any one have a guestimate cause I have no idea.... Thanks!

We have huge rocks of sandstone outside the pond.My husband used the tractor's front end loader to move them.#N#I agree it depends on the density of the stone. Sandstone is lighter than granite. etc.#N#Here is a small portion of our pond showing some of the smaller rocks.#N#{ {gwi:179217}}
