Ups and downs
Depending on what location and manager you land, will determine your experience with this company. The company itself is great, but management is what ruins it majority of the time. I loved working there at one point in time, but those days were over. I worked multiple stores and managers were my reason for leaving after so many years.
Good Place to work
Home Depot is a great company to work for. You get out what you put in. There is no limit to where you can take your career here. People have worked themselves up from cashier to store manager. If you are ok with working inconsistent hours and days, then its alright. The turnover rate is high, but that's to be expected with any company this size.

We work Monday- Friday with weekends off. We get six paid holidays in addition to personal sick time and vacation. Medical, dental and vision benefits for full time. We are given shirts, tools and supplies for the role. Have a great team of associates to work with.
Have to know people
In order to move up within the ranks you have to know someone that can get you in. They have a mentoring program but it’s basically non existent. It’s be friendly or stay in your current position.
