Not a stable company
The present day Big Apple Circus is very unstable. The company has no real direction from the NYC Office. The Tour Management team works very hard and the NYC Team Office has no idea how hard the touring production staff works. Cut backs have forced the remaining staff to take on multiple positions with no compensation.

I enjoyed working at the Big Apple Circus, especially the performers, who were fun to hang around with. The other ushers and circus crew were pretty awesome, and knew how to have a great time when we weren't working.

Working at the circus was very easy we had lunch on the job everyone was friendly, I saw some of the people that perform at the circus I seen many different animals. It was fun.

Gregory Fedin and his then-wife Nina Krasavina, both born and trained in Russia, started a circus school to train future "first" generation circus performers. They started the small school in a lower Manhattan loft.

In the past, elephants, lions and tigers were the stars of the circus.
