How many wires for 2 stage heating and cooling?
I saw that the original wiring consisted of 4 wires, and wanting to make use of the 2 stages of heating, I ran a 5 wire cable, so I have 9 wires total. For the thermostat, I have an Energate Foundation. It supports up to 2-stage heating and 2-stage cooling. Here are my connections:
