Help - Gas Furnace continues to overheat (Carrier 9200 WeatherMaker)
Hi. My gas furnance (Carrier Weathermaker 9200 Ultra High Efficiency) has been having problems for about a month now. The control panel and tempature sensor have been replaced in the last month but the system still overheats and shuts off every couple of days. The max tempature setting we have it set to is 70 degrees.
Fair value from home warranty?
My Furnance is a Carrier, 4 ton, 100,000 BTU high effiency furnance. My warranty company is only crediting me $ for it to be replaced. $ for the new "equivalent" furnace, $ for labor, and $ disposal.
