How long is the WOCS program?
The WOCS curriculum has been completely redesigned to provide two different versions of the program; one version is approximately six weeks and four days long and the other is approximately four weeks long. Both versions are tough and demanding in order to best serve a nation and an Army at war.

What comes next after WOCS?
Upon completion of WOCS, you will go through the first phase of BOLC which includes SERE-C. After that's done, you will start flight school (Primary, Instruments, Basic Navigation, and FSXXI for your airframe). Finally, you will complete the last phase of BOLC before shipping out to your assigned unit.

What happens if you fail WOCS?
If you choose to attend WOCS at Fort Rucker, you will take the APFT prior to starting classes; should you fail, you will be dismissed from WOCS. In either case, the only way you can then become a Warrant Officer is to reapply and again be selected for the program.

Do CAC cards expire?
A: Emergencies happen, but in most instances these emergencies could have been prevented by a little pre-planning. Your Common Access Card (CAC) should not expire during the course and you should also know your CAC pin. Ensure that your finances and family matters (power of attorney) are taken care of prior to leaving for WOCS. Again, time is limited and you will disrupt your training if you require trips to finance or S1. In addition, worrying about unresolved personal problems is distracting and can affect your ability to learn while here. If you bring a vehicle, ensure that all your paperwork (license, registration, insurance) is up to date, available for verification, and will not expire.
Does Fort Rucker have a BOQ?
A: No. Fort Rucker does not have BOQs and Officers are not authorized to stay in the barracks. It is your personal responsibility to find somewhere to live upon your graduation from WOCS.

The less you do to prepare for it the better. Don't listen to people that try to give you advice (even though I guess this is advice too). Just roll with it. It's really different for everybody. How hard it is kinda depends on your outlook.
