Test Type: Selected-Response or Constructed-Response? This refers to what type of questions are on your test. For the Praxis Core, the Reading and Math subsections are both Selected-Response, which could also be called “multiple choice.”. The Writing subsection is Constructed-Response because of the essay components.
How to leave yourself enough time to study?
You want to leave yourself enough time to: Study. Take the test. Receive official scores. Re-register and re-take the test if necessary. You may receive unofficial scores when you take the test with selected response tests, but sometimes these scores differ by a few points from your official scores.

The Praxis test is an exam administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), used to evaluate teachers' teaching skills and capabilities. It is divided into the Praxis I, which tests core teaching areas, and Praxis II, also known as Praxis Subject Assessments, which evaluate competence in specific subjects.

Understanding how a Praxis score is calculated can be difficult at first, given that there are different types of questions and scores. The Praxis is broken down into different sections based on question format. There are two types of Praxis questions: selected-response and constructed-response.
Praxis Score Release Dates
Once your Praxis Test is scored, ETS makes your Praxis score report available online by 5 p.m. Eastern Time the next Monday or Friday. Test availability and scoring can both come in waves, meaning that you may not get your score any earlier if you take your test on an earlier date in a set window of the test being offered.
Praxis Requirements by State
State Praxis requirements vary, as does how different states actually use the Praxis. Some states require that the Praxis be taken and passed for teaching candidates to complete their certification and obtain a teaching license.

We Need to Make it More Inconvenient to be Unvaccinated

How long before a test can you change your registration?
You can change, cancel or reschedule your registration online. You must make changes at least three days before your test date, not including the day of your test. Can you use Praxis for extended time?
Yes. Accommodations of extended time, extra breaks, screen magnification and selectable colors can be requested using your Praxis account. Selected-response Scoring
The score review service is not available for selected-response questions because those answers are scored once at the test center, then transmitted to ETS, where they are verified before being reported.
Constructed-response (Essay) Scoring
A trained scorer reviews your answers and score ratings to determine whether they are consistent with the scoring rules established for that test.
