So apparently casper is telling us what our test score is now. I just got an email saying my score falls within 1 of 4 quartiles. I didn't get an actual score, but they said I fell into a certain quartile percentile. They break it up into 0%-25%, 25%-50%, 50%-75%, and 75%-100%.

WakadanPA

I wonder if you can request your quartiles from last years test. I am curious to know where I landed.

I'm off to rehab. Medical school will have to wait yet another year

Following up on a thread I made earlier. I decided to go to rehab. Hope this can make things change a lot, for the better. I don't know how to feel about it, but I remember my friend's body. I remember it, I remember him, I remember knowing that medicine was what I needed, to change the world for the better. I saw his family sobbing.

my friend got a 488... and still plans to apply

How do I help my friend out? Legit scores a 488 and plans to apply this cycle with it. How the heck do I get through his thick head that he isn't going to get in with that? I've tried getting him to schedule to take it with me on May 19th for this cycle but no luck. All he says is "my grades are good I got a 3.8 that will balance it out."

Why are male med students so attractive?

I just got into a medical school and have been doing some research about my school. Most of the guys that go there kinda look perfect. Hip, fashionable, good looking etc. Meanwhile I’m kinda chubby, short and not that much of a looker

Frustrating pre-med coworkers

I have worked as a phlebotomist for all of college, and my work just hired a new phlebotomist that’s a sophomore, pre- med at my undergrad uni. Normally, I am always excited to get another co-worker my age, but this girl frustrates me beyond belief.

I quit being a Premed

Hi everyone I wanted to reach out and give the many thanks to each and everyone of you. I have lurked this sub for since I was a senior in high school, I always thought my dream was to be a doctor but after exploring more classes, and spending 3 years in health care I’ve decided being a doctor isn’t for me.
