You can get different strength caps which will power a nail thru almost anything but I think, as said before, it maybe to much.

which ever cap you use a hilti powder actuated gun is (i think) too much for the job.wotever ur nailing into the gun will try and drive the nail in as far as it can and prob pierce your angle iron ,have you thought about the hilti gx100 ? the nail will fire flush with the work your using only prob the nails just so expensive.
