About template switching
When you switch to a new template, you change your site's design and structure, but most of your content stays intact. You can install, preview, and switch templates at any time, as many times as you'd like. Only one template will be live to visitors at a time.
What to expect
Some changes that you make to a template preview affect your live site and transfer across templates. Other changes are only visible in the preview until you publish the new template.

Note: Before you uninstall a template, ensure it isn't discontinued. If it's discontinued, you won't be able to reinstall it.
Reinstall your current template
A more extreme version of resetting site styles, you can uninstall and reinstall your template to delete all site styles changes. Reinstalling your template may restore the template's demo content.

I changed fonts and my text doesn't look right
This may be a formatting issue in the text block that you can fix. If you pasted text from another source, you can accidentally copy over formatting that interferes with your other style settings.
I'm changing a tweak but nothing's happening
Try clicking Save and refreshing the page. Although most style changes update the preview immediately, in some instances you need to save and refresh. Keep in mind that after you refresh the page you'll have to manually undo your changes, as the undo option won't work.
How do I go back to my site's original style?
For some style options, you can reset to the site's defaults. It's not possible to reset individual sections in version 7.1 to their default styles.
Can I import or export style tweaks?
This is currently only possible for Circle members on version 7.0 sites, who have access to Tweaks 2.0.
Why is site styles different after switching templates? (Version 7.0)
All sites on version 7.1 use the same template, so there's no need to switch templates.
