I enjoy reading the sun through this app. Previous older version was terrible but this new redo is great. Easy to read articles, easy to stay logged in. The Sun is great journalism that I’m proud to support!

Not ready to be sold to the public
The concept is fine. When it works it is a great way to get this famous English paper as a download to take with you wherever you go. So far so good. Unfortunately, the bugs are so constant and repetitive that clearly this should not have been allowed to be sold in the App Store. I don't believe for a second that this was ever tested.
Latest update
Latest update now requires you to make an account in order to access the articles. While the articles are free, there is no reason why a free newspaper would force you to make an account. Daily Mail, Daily Mirror and Daily Star are all free and better apps, so I will stick with these. None require an account. I deleted the Sun app.
Just Another Clickbait Tabloid with No Substance of Honesty
I’m not mad that they post uncorroborated slander on a daily basis. I’m mad they post uncorroborated slander on a daily basis and none of it is interesting. Most articles are authored by people who write at a 6th grade level and think at a 3rd grade level. I expected nothing out of this news outlet yet still, somehow, found myself disappointed.
Slow to load
I started using this app and it’s very slow to load images/content. Even when in WiFi. Other apps load content immediately when connected to the same network. Also noticed my phone gets really hot when using it (iPhone 11 Pro Max)
Crashes Constantly
This app just kept crashing everytime after about 3-5 mins into it. Also, some of their material in their articles questionable (i.e. No, he didn't hit that woman, it was the other way around as proven by a court of law). Down with fake news
