So I have extremely high pitched hissing tinnitus, the pitch is high! How does anyone habituate or cope with it? I’ve always thought if it was a lower pitch I could deal somewhat better but mine is very high. Almost always it’s so high it hurts my ears.

I had extremely high pitch hiss in my right ear for 1.5 years before it started to settle, Hopefully it will for you too. I still have bad days, infact I heard it over an airplane just last month. I also have TTTS to certain sounds.

Problem is that there is little to mask tinnitus at higher pitches. Even my crickets sound tops off at around 5kHz.

My tinnitus seems to be louder when they don’t feel full and more open, which is so weird, I figured it would totally be opposite to that.

I have extremely high pitch T in my right ear. 100% of the time non stop. It is all I think about...unbearable. Some days it gets so loud I really have a hard time thinking of anything else. I have no answer to share for relief. My left ear can get bad as well at times. It fluctuates. I've had high pitch T in my right ear starting in 2010.
