After all the lights went out, as explained above in Step 4, I did press the Brightness button, and the center Logo light came on a solid Blue. I waited and waited... about 15 to 20 minutes, and nothing else happened.

My suspicions were correct. I was doing the procedure for the Factory Reset correctly, however, there is apparently a bug associated with this procedure. Finally, this morning I got the following email from an "Ooma source":

I had the same issue with the blue light staying on during a factory reset today. Phone support didn't know anything about bugs related to that process.

Not really an issue but sometimes there is a long delay during calls and I have played with several of the setting to try to fix it and this has created other issues. For instance I can no longer log into the Ooma unless I use the wired port.

1. Setting Ooma Telo Port Forwarding, with Ooma Telo located behind (LAN Side) of your router. Add Port forwarding so that you don’t have to connect a computer to the Ooma Telo Home Port for viewing or modifying Ooma Telo settings.
