An E-ZPass MD or Maryland E-ZPass is a transponder (tag) that you can mount on your vehicle (wind-shield or license plate) to pay toll electronically in Maryland. You don't need to stop to pay toll in E-ZPass lane. It is part of the E-ZPass network and can be used in all the states where E-ZPass is valid.

Can I switch my E-ZPass transponder to another vehicle? Yes. You can switch the transponder from one vehicle to another as long as you use it on a vehicle with the same vehicle type.
