What states are covered by EZ Pass? EZ Pass is a DSRC based electronic tolling system used on toll roads in 14 states in the USA. Toll roads in Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and West Virginia, share use of the system, which enables interoperability between the roads.

When will the new tolls go into effect in 2021?
Thank you for your patience. New toll rates went into effect at MTA Bridges and Tunnels beginning April 11 , 2021. New E-ZPass mid-tier toll rate for improper tag mounting also went into effect. Maintaining unpaid tolls could risk suspension of a vehicle registration. Act 165 of 2016 allows the suspension of PA vehicle registration with six or more unpaid PA Turnpike tolls or toll invoices totaling $500 or more.
