I bought a bookcase online for pick up at the store. When I got it home in the box, I realized there were 4 critical shelf supports missing. After 4 calls (very long hold times) and some email back and forth to try to get the missing pieces or get the bookcase replaced - I had to give up and return it.
Beware of West Elm delivery people
I just found out that West Elm does not take responsibility for property damage caused by their delivery people. The company recently delivered a replacement piece of a Harmony sectional that was defective and their delivery guys tore the edge of my area rug when they were hooking up the piece.
Terrible Quality
Terrible quality, and warranty. Bought a 76" Harmony Sofa. After two years of normal usage, the center beam of the bottom frame cracked as I sat down one day. There is now a large dip in the middle. Contacted West Elm, and they informed me that since it was past one year, they couldn't offer any help.
West Elm is not what I thought
I can see now why they don’t allow reviews. I thought West Elm items were supposed to be high quality and environmentally friendly? The table I got is the worst. Horrible manufacturing. Pieces are incredibly crooked and don’t line up. Can’t even hammer them in proper place.
I am extremely disappointed
I am extremely disappointed. I purchased the Harmony 2-piece sectional from West Elm in June 2021 and it arrived in Oct 2021. After all was said and done, the price tag was over $4,000. Obviously, I am OK with the cost but I expect good quality for that price. The sofa was beautiful when it arrived.
Terrible service
Terrible service. They're delivering the item 3 months after I placed the order. At this day and age of same day delivery, and for the price they charge this is just outrageous. I had a gift card and so I was forced to order here. I still haven't received the item and don't know how good/bad the item itself is going to be.
