Anyone ever try Try, Tractor Supply Welding Gas To Go
Anyone ever try that welding gas to go from tractor supply. How does the process work? They don't also carry straight argon do they? Thanks
Re: Anyone ever try Try, Tractor Supply Welding Gas To Go
I have seen the thing at Tractor supply and seen some folks purchasing/renting the tanks at the store. The lil tanks they have in the store seemed expensive and I wouldn't count on the sales folks there being able to answer any of your questions. I like to stay with a regular welding gas company.

You may want to do your own checking around with several local suppliers. Since I have a commercial acount and buy on a contract my gas is cheaper than what you'll pay.
Re: Anyone ever try Try, Tractor Supply Welding Gas To Go

Re: Anyone ever try Try, Tractor Supply Welding Gas To Go
They do the same at Atwoods (ag supply) here. Tanks seem small, and price a little higher. Plus if you deal on a regular basis with the LWS, they get to know you, and sometimes help you out with tech questions. And a freebie here, and there. If they're decent folks anyway.
Re: Anyone ever try Try, Tractor Supply Welding Gas To Go
Talked to my LWS (airgas) and they said that if you purchase the bottles at TSC, depending on what bottle they give you, they won't be able to fill it because they had tried it and the filling part of the company sent them back and said that they were marked by another gas company. The gas prices that they have are awful for here. Quote this p.m.
