Klaussner - Good or Bad

We are shopping for a new sofa. We want a quality leather sofa, but don't want to spend upwards $4000. We would rather stay 2 or below, if that is possible. We are in GA. I went to an upscale furniture store that I knew carried quality brands. She suggested a Klaussner sofa as being a good choice.

That seems awfully high for a Klaussner sofa; at that price you could get Bassett and it comes with a lifetime warranty. I would not say the brand is bad; however they are a mid line company. You may want to do some looking online for a better price or shop some of the smaller stores as they are typically more aggressive on pricing.

Good pay management could be better

Real hands on jobs, money wise is pretty good and good work schedule. Good job to build a career at. Management is good could be better as they sometimes just want to get there jobs done.

Accommodations

Employer tired to work with you if you are having personal issue that affect your job. They do try to keep you with the company by offering you another option other than quitting.

Poor benefits, misleading management

This company has horrible benefits in terms of vacation/holiday/pto unless you have been here 20 years. Management cares only about the bottom line, refuses to hire replacement employees for people that have left, instead piling the work onto people that are still there but not increasing compensation.

Very poor management

Absolute chaos there. Dept manager done nothing but lie. All of the good employees/managers/executives have either left or are leaving. Use to be such a good company.

This is a horrible place to work. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY

This is a horrible place to work. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY IN THE JOB POSTING. I never received my referral bonus. Supervisors treat people like trash. Horrible work environment!

Good co workers

Don’t work here. No advances and management is horrible. Was a great company to work for a few years ago but not anymore. They got a new president and things changed fast

Don't Believe what you hear

This company promises a lot just to get you on, then the promises start to fall through. They promise bonuses but don't tell you that there are certain requirements you have to meet and to get the full bonus takes about 6 months, assuming they don't forget about you.

I made real good money, especially coming straight out of high school and no further education. You just had to bust your butt to make the money, it was all production work.

It was a job

It has been over 20 years since I worked there and it was production, fast paced and a lot of angry people. I left when they decided to cut production money in half because they had people making as much as their managers, if you grew up in Randolph County you usually made your way to work there for at least a little time in your life.

very stressful

expected to do the job of at least 2 people at all times, while being rushed to do even more work. management is constantly changing the procedure in which they want things done.

Makes a living

Fast paced. Good furniture. Work is ok. Pay ok. Leave when you're finished. Close down Christmas and July fourth. No pay only bonus. People are nice. Work is not so hard.

productive

An average day at Klaussner Furniture consisted of production down a line and each line was responsible for building certain area of the furniture. It was production job.

Klausner

Good place to work. Just no heat or air inside building. I liked the supervisor he was pretty cool guy 2cnd shift. The place pays but not good enough. It takes forever to advance to better within the company

not a bad place to work

I really enjoyed working there at the start but as I increased my quality and production to were I was making about 20.00 per hour they did not want to pay that much even though it was a production job so they would lower the pay for each piece of work cut at the end of my job time I was making abour10.00 per hour no mater how fast I worked or how good my quality of work was.
