Work hours can be very long with minimal breaks, 1 or 2, 30 minute off the clock lunches. Change of shift is a cluster mess, with in coming patients and out going patients simultaneously coming on and off machines which can be very difficult. Pay is ok at best considering the responsibility we have and work load that is demanded. Davita is "for profit" so just remember this. We do the best we can with the minimal amount of patient care time we are allotted.
Disappointed with PA students and practicing PAs I see selling services to pre-PAs
Before being accepted to the program I’m about to start, I had been a long time member of a few Facebook groups for pre-PA students. It has never crossed my mind once in asking people for advice or giving it to students to ever charge a fee.

I never thought I would see the day where I would post an acceptance post. I was accepted with a 3.03 CGPA and a 3.23 SGPA, 311 GRE, and 1300 PCE, 192 hours volunteering in the hospital, 300 community service hours at a food pantry, 96 hours shadowing a PA. I was shocked to get a call that I was accepted to the Program for the 2020-2021cycle.
