WHOPPERS Malted Milk Balls first rolled onto the candy scene in 1939 as Giants, produced by the Overland Candy Company. In 1949, Leaf Brands reintroduced the candy into the market as WHOPPERS. These crunchy classics became part of The Hershey Company family in 1996.

I was soooooo broken hearted when the Farley Co changed the recipe to some disgusting mess. Why would they mess with something so good? Crazy. Learned to live w/o my favorite candy...so so sad.
