I have that dilemma myself on a bathroom cabinet. I have solved my problem. I am using polished nickel faucets and handles. The hinges I am using is weathered nickel by amerirock. I think the hinge should match, but be more weathered. It was a relief when I got that piece of the puzzle figured out! It should not be polished!
