I think this job is DIY do able. I just purchased a nylon fuel line kit for my 1999 chevy, haven't installed it yet but looks like it should be fairly easy. My truck has quick connects and requires a special fuel line tool to remove them. The tool is only like 10 bucks. I think your truck has the flared fittings.

To guide them all around completely, It was really expensive for me to have it done at a shop. I’ll see if I can find my receipt....but the labor was higher because they had to drop my fuel tank and insert a new fuel pump & relay

I paid about $200 for a replacement set from Lines To Go. Was going to do myself but heard its difficult to get the bracket off the top of the bell-housing. I'm also not sure if I can get the pre-bent lines around the ABS module and torsion tube crossmember (don't want to have to take those lose).
