The critical connection between children’s resilience and the health and wellness of the adults in children’s lives can not be underestimated.
What is DCRC in preschool?
The Devereux Center for Resilient Children’s (DCRC’s) model includes both assessing and promoting children’s protective factors. Research-based strategies are linked directly to a child’s assessment results, and can be used in both the classroom and home settings to strengthen any areas of need identified by the assessment results. Our e-DECA users have access to a comprehensive list of strategies that are specifically targeted to strengthen Attachment/Relationships, Initiative and Self-Regulation. Strategies to reduce behavioral concerns are also available for preschool-age children. Spanish-translated strategies are also available!
