I used the oil to finish and protect cutting boards that I made (see picture).Its thinner oil so it tends to penetrate the wood more deeply which is a good thing.The oil is odorless and visually clear.When first applied on new wood the wood magically brightens and shines.The oil is liberally applied and allowed to soak in.The oil will seep into the wood if left to sit providing better protection.I made 17 cutting boards and generously applied oil to all sides multiple times until is seemed to stop absorbing.
