What is the Tile Shop’s return policy?
If Buyer is dissatisfied with the product for any reason, they are to notify a Tile Shop representative to arrange for the materials to be returned. Buyer is eligible for a full refund for returned materials, as outlined here, as soon as The Tile Shop resumes possession of the material at any location.

How do I return a field tile?
Field tile must be returned in factory sealed, full box quantities only unless sold as a sample. The Tile Shop sells products that are either a natural stone cut from a quarry, a clay tile or another material that is processed and manufactured to achieve certain colors and textures.
Do you return excess tiles to BQ?
We were advised when buying tiles to get more then we thought we needed so that we had enough of the same batch number in case of breakages, and return any excess for refund. Which we did Only on goodwill if BQ will provide the good will.

Tile stores return policy
I just started shopping for tile for a kitchen and laundry room. Some stores charge a restocking fee for returning unopened boxes and some don't allow any returns. Is this common? I'm not optomistic about finding what I want at HD or Lowes because I want 3-4 different size tiles for a pattern. I am on Long Island.

Typically, HD and Lowe's will take back unused product without se-stocking fees. Keep your receipt and you should have no problem...

Why is my tile uneven?
The reason is because tile is usually adhered either with thinset mortar or some type of epoxy (most likely the former). The mortar almost becomes part of the tile. Even if you can remove the tile, the bottom is highly uneven and unsuitable for reuse.

Can you reuse bullnose?
If want to try to salvage bullnose, it offers better opportunities for reuse because it is thicker and less prone to breakage. While there is no solvent to loosen the mortar or epoxy, some concerted prying with thin tools like putty knives or chisels may pull the bullnose away without too much damage. Read More.
