We do not sell directly to the public; however, we have many re-sellers across North America that carry the MAAX brand. What is the warranty on MAAX products? How do I order replacement parts from Maax?
Simply go to MAAX’s Replacement Parts site to purchase parts online. For all other replacement parts or if you cannot find the replacement part you need, send us a photo of your unit and the desired part using the Contact Us form.
Can Utile wall panels be pierced or cut?
No. Utile wall panels can be pierced to add faucets and accessories, but they cannot be cut to change the dimensions of the wall panels or cut to fit around a window. What are the available Utile sizes and configurations?
Do we really need a Maax bathtub?
Their literature insist that we must use a MAAX bathtub. Thanks. I also would like to know if anyone installed this on a non-MAAX brand bathtub. Due to a leak situation, we have to re-do our bathroom and are switching from the poorly installed tile to a hopefully more reliable plastic-type surround.

How do I clean my utile shower?
Non-abrasive cleaning sprays or cream-based cleaning agents should be used to clean Utile with a chamois, soft cloth or sponge. Never use abrasive cleaning products, scrapers, metal brushes, cleaning erasers or anything that could scratch or dull the surface of the Utile panels.

Can shower surround go over tile?
Tub surrounds can sometimes be installed over existing tile, but only when conditions are right. The old tile area needs to be smaller than the kit and you'll need to build up the surrounding wall to the level of the tile, usually with 1/4-in. drywall. All things considered, removing the tiles is often a better option.
What is the difference between acrylic and gelcoat tubs?
Gelcoat is coloured polyester resin sprayed onto a mold then reinforced with polyester saturated fibreglass. Unlike acrylic it is not a sold material therefore offers no insulation. Being more porous and brittle than acrylic, the gel-coat/fiberglass surface has a greater tendency to dull and discolour over time.
