canadascott made an awesome point , today's rubbing compound is quite harsh , the 3m product to use after is called finesse-it it's a super fine polishing compound---like using a 1500 wet sand paper........it clear's up the scratchy mark's that the rubbing make's.......also the "wax shop " has a polishing glaze that's about the same.......
