I actually have a white Coach purse and it is the cloth material. I use a clean wash cloth with regular ol' dish soap and the hottest water you can stand on your hands. Get the bag soaking wet, then get your cloth wet. Put about a half-dollar size amount of soap onto your cloth, when you rub it on the purse you can scrub it pretty hard.

Listen ignore the vinegar stuff and the buying the special cleaner stuff. The best thing to use is honestly, some Dial Antibacterial Hand soap. Just get a towel and you can put soap on the bag or the spots or even on the towel. It doesn't damage the bag or the color. However do not wipe the leather handles.
