How many different types of apricots are there?
Having added a few early varieties, we now grow thirteen different types of apricots & apriums* (Apache, Kettleman, Honey Rich, Katy, Rojo, Robada, Goldensweet, Leah Cot, Country Cot, Goshen Gold, Cot'N'Candy, Candy Cot and Patterson) with a typical harvest that runs from early May to the end of June.
When is the best time to pick apricots?
Our sweet and juicy organic apricots mark the beginning of our spring/summer harvest. We handpick each apricot only at the peak of its ripeness so it is full of ripe apricot flavor.
