When can I pick apple in the orchard?

Apple picking in the orchard is primarily available weekends only through October. Some varieties may be available to pick weekdays and we will post that updated information on our Homepage weekly.

Can I bring a child to the apple orchard?

Strollers will be allowed in the orchard to transport children. Guests should be aware that walks to ripe fruit will vary weekly in location and distance. Apple picking in the orchard is primarily available weekends only through October.

What kind of apples are grown at Nichols farm?

The following is a list of most, but not all apples grown here on Nichols Farm and Orchard. Many of our apples are available in our online store and ready to ship anywhere in the country. The Aceymac is a newer apple that originated in New York. It has a similarity to a McIntosh apple in appearance, but its taste is similar to a Spartan.

How many varieties of apples are there at the farm?

Hundreds of varieties of apples are here at the farm, in a wide range of colors, sizes, and (most importantly!) flavor. Most of the varieties are either very new or heritage/antique varieties.

Can you buy apples in bulk?

Interested in a large quantity of apples? We have half bushel and whole bushel available in most varieties. Please call ahead or ask an associate to assist you in your bulk selection.
