If its just a light fitting then just a live, neutral and earth should be there, a red or brown should connect to the black or white and a black or blue should connect to the black or white!.........connect one, the other follows.

buy yourself a fluke t5-1000, put the cables into blocks, and put one end of the tester on the neautral (blue or black) and on across the cable you think is the switched live, and activate the switch, this will give you your answer your looking for, thanks. or seek an electrician looking at rouhgly a call out charge £40-£50,
