Preparation

Download, print and cut up the Bible 20 Questions Cards. The cards are divided into 5 categories: (1) Old Testament Stories, (2) New Testament Stories, (3) Old Testament Bible Characters, (4) New Testament Bible Characters and (5) Things (great for players less familiar with the Bible).

How to Play

We recommend playing Bible 20 Questions as a cooperative game, where all players work as a team to achieve a common goal. This is more fun and encouraging especially for young children and it avoids any unnecessary tension that competitive games sometimes create. (To play as a competitive game, see Variation 1 below)

Tips

For Answerers who are less familiar with the Bible, allow them to pick the “Thing” category, and tell everyone to ask non-Bible-based questions about the “Thing”.

Variation 1

For a competitive game, divide into teams of 2-6 players. Teams take turns to be the Answering Team. The Answering Team sends a representative to pick a Bible 20 Questions Card.

Variation 2

To play this game without using the Bible 20 Questions Cards provided, allow players to think of other Bible Stories, People, Places or Things that they are familiar with.
