WE sell the Kawasaki oil for $4.95 a quart, it takes 2 quarts. Kawasaki has the best gas lawn mower engine on the market by far. We sell Kubota mowers. WE only order gas ones with the Kawasaki engines. They give no trouble. The dam Brigs, Kohler and Honda engines are just not up to snuff now.

Good luck getting warranty work from any engine mfgr. In the manual from Kaw it specifies API SJ or SL oil.
